Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026
This policy explains how Millwheel Games handles information. The short version: our games are built to leave you alone. They work offline, without an account, without ads, and we do not sell your data. The details follow.
Our games are offline and account-free
Millwheel games are designed to run entirely on your device. They do not require you to create an account or sign in, and they do not need an internet connection to play. We do not operate our own game servers that collect your play data.
No ads, no sale of data
We do not show advertising in our games, and we do not include third-party advertising or tracking networks. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, and we never will.
Your progress and saved games
Your progress is saved locally on your device, or synced through the cloud-save feature of the platform you play on (for example, Steam Cloud or your mobile platform's save sync). That save data is handled by the platform under its own terms. Millwheel does not store or access a separate copy.
Purchases
All purchases are made through the store you bought the game from, such as Steam, the Apple App Store, or Google Play. Those stores process your payment and handle billing information directly. Millwheel never receives or stores your payment details; we only receive aggregate sales information from the store.
Crash reports and diagnostics
If a game crashes, the platform you are playing on may send us a crash report through its own diagnostics system (for example, Steam, Apple, or Google crash reporting). These reports are provided by the platform, typically in aggregated or anonymized form, and we use them only to find and fix bugs.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, for example to contact@millwheelgames.com, or by asking to be notified about a new game, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you or to send the update you asked for. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and any notification list is one you can leave whenever you like.
The notify list
If you add your email through the "notify me" form on this site, we store it so we can tell you when a game is ready. The list lives in a private file on our own web server (Hostinger); it is never shared or sold, and we email you only about launches. To leave the list at any time, write to contact@millwheelgames.com and we will remove you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data under laws such as Brazil's LGPD, the European Union's GDPR, and California's CCPA. These generally include the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, and to object to or restrict how it is used. The CCPA also gives you the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights, and, since we do not sell data, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@millwheelgames.com and we will respond within the time required by the applicable law.
Children
Our games are suitable for a general audience and do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not operate accounts or our own servers, we do not gather such information in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
